Mite Supplemental Full Ice

2025-2026 MITE FULL ICE

For current mite travel/U8 players

AHA is invested in the development of our 2017, 2018 & 2019 birth year players. In addition to our traditional mite aged teams which participate in half-ice games, this winter AHA is proud to sponsor a supplemental full-ice mite program.

The goal of this supplemental program is to help prepare U8 players for the next step in their hockey development and begin to learn the basics of full ice hockey such as icing, offsides, faceoffs, and full-sized nets. Players with a birth year of 2017 who plan to play Squirt Full Ice hockey next year are highly encouraged to participate. 

This "game only" program will consist of an approximately 13-15 game schedule playing other town and club based full ice teams, with the season expected to begin after Thanksgiving and continue through mid-March. Teams are welcome to schedule additional games, practices, and other events, and all efforts will be made to avoid conflicts with previously scheduled AHA games.

The final cost will be determined based on the total number of players participating. Rough estimations based on years past are $300-$500 in total cost.

Registration is now open. A $25 non-refundable registration fee will be charged, with the balance due upon final rostering.  Please register by November 7th if you are interested in participating.
