Summer Skills
For the Summer of 2026, AHA is pleased to offer 2 Summer Skills offerings for it's members.
First, Summer skills camp run by AHA alumnus, former NHL player and member of Team USA, and current Head Coach for the San Jose Barracuda AHL team, John McCarthy.
Registration is restricted to current Mite & Squirt AHA players. If you are interested in 1/1 or small group trainings with John, you can reach out to him at jmccarthy@sjbarracuda.com
Second, Summer Camp for rising 9th-12th Graders from One-Six Hockey owned by Scott and Thomas Manty. Six weeks of on-ice development focused on skill work, power skating, situational play, and decision making. Special guest coach featured at each skate!

When
McCarthy Skills runs for 6 weeks starting July 7, 2026. Tuesdays, 6-7 PM.
One-Six Summer runs 6 weeks on Tuesdays and Thursdays 12:10 PM starting July 7th.
Where
McCarthy skills are at Breakaway Ice Center, Tewksbury
One-Six Summer Camp is held at Lawrence Valley Forum, Lawrence.
Practices
McCarthy - Tuesdays 6-7 PM
One-Six - Tuesdays/Thursdays 1:20 PM
2026 Boys HS Manty Summer Camp
Rising 9th - 12th Graders sign up for AHA Summer Training Camp with One-Six Hockey owned by Scott & Thomas Manty.
Cost = $435 for skaters, Goalies are free
6 weeks starting July 7 - August 13th. Sessions are Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12:10 at the Lawrence Valley Forum.
